CM Hemant Soren said, "The Central Government has made such a change in the Forest (Conservation) Act that the consent of the Gram Sabha Committee will not be required for any work from cutting trees to digging." Due to the change in the law, tribal-natives will no longer be able to raise their voice.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the tussle between the central government is not a new thing. Now Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren accused the central government of exploiting the natural resources of the state. Along with this, he said that if any activity is started in the forest areas without the permission of the Gram Sabha, then they should protest. Soren made the allegation while addressing a program organized on the 44th Foundation Day celebrations of his party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) in Dumka.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said, "The Central Government has made such a change in the Forest (Conservation) Act that the consent of the Gram Sabha Committee will not be required for any work from cutting trees to digging." Due to the change in the law, tribals and natives will no longer be able to raise their voice." He alleged, "The aim of this is to suppress the voice of tribals and natives."

The Chief Minister said, "We have written a letter to the Government of India that this law of yours cannot be implemented in this state." Nothing was done for the development of Jharkhand. He said, "Now for the first time a tribal-native government has been formed in the state, so the people of BJP are hatching various kinds of conspiracies to topple the government, these people have resolved to send the Chief Minister to jail but the truth may be disturbed, Not defeated.
